New Haven Comfort Dog Program
We have partnered up with the New Haven Police Department to bring a brand new program to New Haven and the greater New Haven community, We fully fund Comfort Dogs which then get donated to the New Haven Police Department, so they can offer comfort and a friendly face to the community. These dogs are highly trained Service Dogs who specialize in PTSD, Anxiety, and other difficulties as a result of being exposed to trauma. Because we fully fund the Comfort Dogs, we rely heavily on donations.
Scholarship at Gateway Community College
We supply the funds for a scholarship for the Drug & Alcohol Recovery Counselor (DARC) Program at Gateway Community College. This scholarship allows students to meet the workforce development needs of addiction treatment providers. Because we fully fund this scholarship, we rely heavily on donations.
